Take on Start-Ups: Industry Night

RMIT Management and International Business student association and REA has teamed together to showcase entrepreneurs with start ups. The night will be focusing on undergrads in startups, how to get involved and beginning your own. The event will involve a panel of four speakers from three different enterprises who will be speaking about their experiences on the three topics for the night. But we can't forget about a Q&A, networking and food! Which will all be there on the night. Come and learn from entrepreneurs about what being an entrepreneur is all about!

Hobspot a platform that allows you to quickly find other people that pursue the same interests. The aim of the app is to connect and bring people together based on their passion and hobbies. It may be tennis, hiking, cooking or even finding a book club, everyone has a hobby and it can be found on Hobspot! 

Alfonso is a Co-founder of ASG Capital Group, An Australian technology investments company. ASG’s chief investment is Hobspot. Prior to ASG, he was the founder of DMS Productions in Melbourne. There he personally negotiated and secured a national license for “Life in Color” with SFX Entertainment (now LiveStyle Inc), then the world’s largest live events conglomerate. 

Sam is also the co-founder of ASG Capital Group and Hobspot. At 17, Sam became the Youth & Sponsorship Coordinator for Australia’s 2nd largest land developing company. At 21, was offered the opportunity to create and run events within the companies master planned communities, which attracted up to 5,000 attendees.

Little Dreamers

Little dreamers is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve the emotional and physical health, wellbeing and resilience of young carers to reduce mental illness among their community. Little dreamers support young carers through advocacy and their awesome and fun dream programs!

Madeleine is the founder of the social enterprise Little Dreamers who has been brought up as a Young Carer for her brother and mother with a myriad of health conditions. Madeleine has recently completed her Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at RMIT University along with a Diploma of Business (Entrepreneurship) through BSchool. With various awards and expertise, she is an entrepreneur and social innovator with a passion for supporting people often overlooked in the Australian community, Young Carers.

Simplifi

Simplifi works towards a very simple, but ever elusive goal, to Simplifi millennial's understanding of finance. With a focus on the Australian market, we take global sources of information and turn them into Simplifi'd content for members to enjoy.

Jayden is currently in his final year of studies at the University of Melbourne completing his Bachelor of Commerce. He is the National Affairs Director of the FMAA, the largest commerce student society in Australia and works part time as an Analyst at CCZ Equities. Outside of those commitments, Jayden focuses his time on his start-up Simplifi.
